The scriptures we looked at for Patience go hand in hand with Kindness. The picture we see here is a person that does not return evil for evil, is not quick with a comeback or retaliation, but patiently takes offenses for the sake of Christ and His Church. This person does not, however, back down on Scripture or compromise the Truth. Paul was patient and kind yet he never backed down. George spoke in his sermon that 'kindness does not mean weakness'.
Consider the fruit on our fruit tree so far: agapo' love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness. How are we shaping up?
